NYCI offers a range of classes and seminars, allowing students to simply satisfy their curiousity about iridology and herbs, or acquire the necessary skills and certification to become a practitioner.
Iridology Certification Course
Module I teaches beginning students the basic tools and techniques of Iridology
Module II focuses on applying iris signs to the eight body systems
Module III covers reading the dark brown iris, and setting up your practice
Herbology
Herbs That Work Focuses on crafting an herbal regimen for yourself or your clients
(class not required for Iridology certification)

NYCI grants an Advanced Certificate in iridology upon completing Module 2 Applied Iridology plus Module 3 Advanced Iridology classes (the Herb and Nutrition Class is optional). An advanced certificate requires ten iris readings, including two dark brown irides, with the following documentation:
- Eye Charts (or correctly annotated photos)
- Evaluation checklists
- Client Recommendations
